March 2026 Newsletter from Ronny Allan

Here is my monthly summary of March 2026 on RonnyAllan.NET

This has been a very good month but to be honest, I had more time at home and on my computer, due to illness.  OK I was not that ill that I could not tap away at a keyboard!  However, it was pretty erratic access.   I told the story of my illness in a blog post entitled “This too shall pass” which one reader (Dee from Brisbane in Australia described as “Hauntingly accurate“.  It contributed to almost 30,000 blog views in March 2026, the highest for some time.

You will note blogs are coming through in a different format?  This was partly due to people with iPhones complaining about ‘jumpy screens’. That was resolved the issue but I am working through some legacy posts as I find them, bear with me.  You will also note there are a lot of social media icons appearing and that is because I also have one of these accounts for each button – you can follow me on these social media apps.

I had many shares on many posts in March – know this, every share helps someone understand or even work towards a diagnosis, discovery of the best doctors and treatments, questions to ask about this, that and the other. The selection of top posts this month really shows the breadth of subjects applicable to Neuroendocrine Cancer that needs to be considered.  Click on the each of the 10 posts to read.

I wish I could do more but there’s just little old me!  And Chris too of course for those following my exploits on Facebook Page Ronny Allan.  Fortunately I have a great 2IC and admin team in my private group, so that runs as normal.

Firstly, I’ll list the top 10 performing blog posts in March 2026.  I can assure you there is some great information in there, and you may have missed some of my latest blogs which also made it to the top 10. Click the blue heading or the picture on each.  Every share spreads awareness and you could potentially save someone’s life.

I normally post my new blog posts on my Facebook page Neuroendocrine Cancer and/or World Neuroendocrine Cancer Day.  Holiday photos, personal stuff, and often some areas of amusement are normally published on my Facebook page Ronny Allan (although I sometimes sneak one in on these monthly reviews or on the main blog outlets).

I’m thankful to the loyal supporters on my blog site and the other social media sites day and night (and I do note some doing both!).  I really am very grateful and probably would have given up long ago, were it not for your support.

The top 10 performing posts in March 2026

  1.  This blog post outperformed the 2nd highest by 350%, it was very popular.  Click here to read about B12 and NETs or on the photo below.

    2.  I followed up Vitamin B12 with a second one in the same series about Vitamin D.  Click here to read about Vitamin D and NETs or on the photo below.

    3. One of your favourites and the most viewed blog.  Click here to read or on the photo below.  Amazing, I released that in October 2017 and it’s still going strong.

    4. One of 2023 which I brushed off and reposted – it did amazingly well.  Thanks for remembering Jimmy Buffett.  Click here or on the photo below.

    5. My home page gets a lot of visit by default but it’s not always top!  Browse yourself silly by clicking here or on the photo below.

    6. A fairly new entry and part of my efforts to tackle difficult subjects – but written by a patient for other patients.  Click here or on the photo below.

    7.  This is about some online friends who I was supporting, I was shocked to my core when I found out both had passed away within weeks of each other, the NET patient and her husband.  Read their amazing story of fundraising by clicking here or on the photo below.

    8.  This is an important post for understanding the strengths and weaknesses of somatostatin receptor PET/CT scans – the weaknesses being to understand how they work and how to interpret (or not interpret) the output.  Click here or on the photo below to read more.

    9. Another fairly new post which is also part of my difficult pile when the subject comes up in my private group.  It’s another one of those NET nuances where misunderstanding is common.  Click here or on the photo below to read more.

    10. A fairly old post but with a 2026 update.  How to explain the word ‘Neuroendocrine’ in an easy way.  Turn the tables on the problem to avoid complexity (difficult!)

Bonus stuff in March 2026

 1. New updates for 2026.  Headline – two new Gastric NET types.  Click here or on the photo below to read more.

2. Another difficult area I looked at based on personal experience but with some added research.  Click here or on the photo below to read more.

Special feature – My Patient Group

The group was an afterthought.  In terms of the largest patient groups across the world, mine is the newest but has grown into the biggest, perhaps the international flavour helps.  In terms of membership sources, US, UK, Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Ireland, India, Germany and Netherlands dominate making almost 90% of the group membership.

I estimate over 14,000 membership in the summer!  Not as rare as you think!

Click the picture to view the group or apply for membership if not already joined.
