Update 29th July 2026. Perspective Therapeutics received orphan medicinal product designation from the European Commission for [212Pb]VMT-α-NET, a treatment targeting gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs). This status offers development and commercial benefits, including potential market exclusivity for up to 10 years, reflecting the drug's promise to address unmet needs in GEP-NET patients. The drug is currently in Phase 1/2a trials showing encouraging interim results. The designation supports further development and potential approval in Europe, aiming to improve treatment options for patients with limited therapies.   Update 21 June 2025.
