It’s been an unforgettable week. In addition to the challenges of day to day living including any responsibilities beyond where I live, I seem to have crammed quite a lot in. Monday was mainly supporting others outside the NET community. At the other end of the spectrum, Tuesday was a quick trip to London to take part in Macmillan’s World Cancer Day. As a Macmillan Cancer Voice, I was treated to a discussion between the UK Government’s Health Minister (Wes Streeting) and well known BBC political commentator Nick Robinson. I didn’t get a speaking spot but everyone knows Nick was diagnosed with a Lung NET in 2015. I will write separately about this trip in due course.
The rest of the week was focused on catching up before finishing the week with a 48 hour trip to Wells and Glastonbury in Somerset (photos to follow).
